Founder of the Afghan Cultural Center (ACCI), Mr. Abdul Subhan Misbah, born in Kabul, Afghanistan, is an Afghan attorney and U.S. Consultant currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs of a prestigious nonprofit organization, Zakat Foundation of America. Mr. Misbah, an active member, and Deputy Director of the Lawyers Union of Afghanistan has an extensive experience as an attorney, private sector executive, and senior government official. He has worked in Afghanistan and the United States' national and international institutions.
More recently, Mr. Misbah served as a mediator and arbitrator of the Afghan Center for Commercial Dispute Resolution (ACCDR). As well he was an Election Specialist with Independent Election Commission. Mr. Misbah has appeared on several international television and radio networks, including BBC, Voice of America, Aljazeera English, and many Afghans National TV. He has also published research papers and articles in reputable publications, namely Advocacy in the Judicial System of Afghanistan and Method for Disputes Resolution in Afghanistan.
Mr. Misbah received his Master of Arts in Criminal Law from Azad University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Political Science from Kabul University. Apart from being a law professor, he has served as the executive director of Shining Star Educational Organization (SSEOA) and Central Asia Institute (CAI) board member, providing extensive experience in the nonprofit world.
